Crazy Horse Memorial

The world’s largest mountain carving in progress, is located between Hill City and Custer on Highway 16/385, just 17 miles from Mount Rushmore. This one-of-a-kind story is depicted through museums, art galleries, movies, and the sculptor’s log studio-home. The nightly laser show runs through Native American Day, October 12, 2009. Open year-round.
