Wednesday, April 23, 2008Earth Day Canoe & Kayak RegattaOn Saturday, April 19th, the South Dakota Canoe & Kayak Club, along with the Sierra Club of Sioux Falls, held the Earth Day Canoe & Kayak Regatta. This year's event was once again held on the Big Sioux River. Monday, April 21, 2008Hiking At Palisades State ParkOur Sunday afternoon was spent hiking and exploring the trails of Palisades State Park. It was our first time there and well worth the 15 minute drive from Sioux Falls. The park is so serene and peaceful, and the relatively easy hike to the top of the cliff walls provides a spectacular view of the area.
