The Best Western Golden Spike Inn and Suites in Hill City is approximately 14 miles west of Mount Rushmore National Memorial. This makes it a great location to enjoy the fireworks and festivities as well as offering easy access to the rest of the Black Hills. The Golden Spike has many on-site amenities, too, including indoor and outdoor swimming pools, an indoor hot tub, a fitness room and bicycle rentals.

The VIP Passes and the parking pass to Mount Rushmore National Memorial will allow you to experience the unique and awe-inspiring Independence Day Celebration. The thrilling fireworks display is held Thursday, July 3, 2008, with entertainment being offered both Thursday and Friday.
