The community section of TravelSD.com enables individuals to share their experiences, photos and videos from their vacation or their favorite destinations within SD. By Accessing the Community section you agree to the terms and conditions of Travelsd.com in addition to the guidelines below pertaining to the Community section.

Your Responsibility

Whether you have a user account in the community section or are simply viewing submitted content, Each user and visitor is solely responsible for the information, data, text, photographs, graphics, video, music, sound, messages or other materials ("Content") he or she posts to the community section of Travelsd.com. The South Dakota office of Tourism will moderate the submitted content and will make the determination whether or not to make the content viewable to the public. The Office of Tourism is not required to notify you if content is not found suitable to post for public viewing. By submitting content, you give the South Dakota Office of Tourism the right to use or reject any text, photos or video as well as use them for promotional tools without compensation. You are solely responsible for any content that you upload, post, transmit or otherwise make available to others using the Site. Under no circumstances will the Office of Tourism be liable in any way for any Content posted on or made available through the Community Section. You must be at least 18 years old to post content to the Web Site. If you are under 18, your parent or guardian may create a user account and post the content for you, and your parent or guardian must register as the user.

Restrictions on your Use of the Community Section - TravelSD.com

You agree not to use the Community Section of Travelsd.com to:

• upload, post, transmit or otherwise make available:
  • any Content that you know to be false, misleading, or fraudulent;
  • Content that exhibit hate, bias, discrimination, pornography, libelous or otherwise defamatory content;
  • Content not suitable for readers or viewers of all ages;
  • Photos that infringes on any trademark, copyright, or patent rights of another;
  • Content that a reasonable citizen may not consider to maintain the dignity and decorum appropriate for government;
  • any Content that you do not have a right to make available under any law or under contractual or fiduciary relationships (such as inside information or proprietary and confidential information learned or disclosed as part of employment relationships or under nondisclosure agreements);
  • any photograph or video without the permission of each person in the photograph or video;
  • the name of any individual without that person's knowledge and consent;
  • any Content about an identifiable person without that person's permission;
  • any request for or solicitation of money, goods, or services for private gain;
  • any material that contains software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment; or to
• promote any illegal activity;
• impersonate any person or entity or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity;
• interfere with or disrupt the Travels.com Site or servers or networks connected to the Site;
• in violation of any local, state, national or international law, rule or regulation;
• "stalk" or otherwise harass another; or
• collect or store personal data about other users of this Service.
