Production of Godspell Continues at Black Hills Playhouse

Don’t miss the beloved rock musical, Godspell, which runs through Sunday, July 8 at the Black Hills Playhouse. The high energy cast features Patrick Beasley as Jesus, with Alex Ghattas, Samantha Barboza, Kendra Bolan, Charles Goitia, Paige Hauer, Addison Heeren, Tim Huggenberger, Carly Schneider & Emily Vortherms rounding out the ensemble.  Godspell features exquisite professionally designed sets, costumes, lights and sound in the setting of an abandoned prairie church.
The Black Hills Playhouse 2012 Company includes cast and crew members from 27 states made up of a mix of seasoned theatre professionals, university professors and university students who produce some of the best theatre in the region. The BHP resides on the site of a historic CCC camp in the heart of Custer State Park and features picnic areas, a snack bar and gorgeous scenery . Performances are Tuesday through Saturday at 7:30 with matinees on Saturday and Sunday at 2:00 pm.

BHP is a summer stock theatre which receives support from the University of South Dakota, Black Hills Playhouse Alumni Association, Custer State Park, Allied Arts Fund of Rapid City, the South Dakota Arts Council through the Department of Tourism & State Development, the National Endowment for the Arts, generous foundation, corporation donors, loyal patrons and audience members.
