2010 Shows Strong Increase in Visitors to Falls Park

Sioux Falls, SD - The Falls Park Visitor Information Center, managed by the Sioux Falls Convention & Visitors Bureau, ended 2010 with a strong increase in visitor numbers over the previous year. 177,365 people entered the visitor center in 2010 and in 2009, 158,951 visitors were counted, showing an increase of 18,414 for the year. Visitors have the opportunity to sign a guest book, but the actual count is taken as people enter the visitor center. It is estimated that approximately one-third of the people visiting FallsPark actually enter the visitor center and/or sign the guest book.
The guest book showed 2010 visitors came from all 50 states and 57 foreign countries.

The Falls Park VisitorInformation Center provides visitors to Sioux Falls with citywide information as well as a wide variety of Sioux Falls souvenirs.
