PIERRE, S.D. – The South Dakota Office of Tourism and the Great Lakes of South Dakota Tourism Association are now accepting applications to fill seasonal positions for travel counselors and supervisors at the 10 Information Centers along Interstates 29 and 90.
Travel counselors are needed from May through September to assist visitors with travel needs, answer questions and promote South Dakota’s Great Faces and Great Places.
Applicants must be high-school graduates, possess knowledge of South Dakota’s history and visitor attractions, have basic computer skills, and excellent communication skills.
Positions are available at the following Interstate Information Centers: Chamberlain, New Effington, Salem, Tilford, Valley Springs, Vermillion, Vivian, Wasta, Wilmot and Spearfish.
