PIERRE, S.D. – If you’re seeking an exciting family event in South Dakota at a reasonable price, look no further than the annual Ipswich Trail Days from June 11-13. With a variety of events for the whole family, it’ll be a weekend worth remembering.
Ipswich Trail Days starts June 11 at 4:30 p.m. CDT and continues through June 13. Events include bed races, dodge ball, fun runs, art in the park, bull riding, street dances, a best-ball golf tournament and much more. Concessions will be available and lawn chairs are encouraged.
Special guests include The Crash Landing band, playing on June 11 at 9 p.m.; Diamond Rio, with opener Bomshel on June 12 at 7 p.m.; and Black Cat Bone Band on June 12 at 9 p.m.
Ticket prices range from $15 to $35. Tickets can be purchased at Ken’s Fairway in Aberdeen and Ipswich, and Hitch’N Post in Aberdeen.
Ipswich Trail Days was an event done in the 1950s and 1960s and was revived in 2000. More events are added each year, and attendance increases. It’s an exciting family friendly event that welcomes people from all over to have fun and enjoy all Ipswich Trail Days offers.
