SIOUX FALLS, SOUTH DAKOTA – The Sioux Falls Convention & Visitors Bureau would like to announce that the 7th Annual Winter Wonderland at Falls Park kick-off event will be Saturday, November 21, 2009. Mayor Dave Munson will flip the switch to light up Falls Park at 6 p.m.
Falls Park will be decorated in thousands of spectacular holiday lights, garland & ice sculptures. Adults and children will be able to enjoy cookies and hot chocolate, free horse-drawn wagon rides, reindeer and camel, holiday music, a visit with Santa & Mrs. Claus, zoo animals, and holiday dancers.
One bus and two trolleys will be available for the public to ride to Falls Park from the downtown area between 5 p.m. & 9 p.m. They will pick up passengers at the regular trolley stop locations. The Visitor Information Center parking lot will be strictly designated for handicapped accessible parking only.

Winter Wonderland is an amazing display of lights & holiday festivities for all ages. Falls Park will continue to “light up” nightly through January 3, 2009.
