Sioux Falls to Host NAFA World Series

Sioux Falls, S.D. – Sioux Falls has been selected to host the North American Fast Pitch Association (NAFA) 2009 World Series for men’s fast pitch softball. NAFA was founded in 1993 and annually hosts the largest men’s softball tournament in the world. The organization can be found in forty states, six Canadian provinces, and Mexico.

This is the first year that Sioux Falls will host the event that will run August 6-9 and August 13-16. The tournament will be played at Harmodon Park and draw 120 teams from all over the United States as well as Canada and Japan. The first game with start at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 6.
