Guest Pianist, Dr. Eugenio Zapata, To Perform at Redlin Art Center

Watertown, S.D. - The Redlin Art Center and the Watertown Community Foundation are proud to present Dr. Eugenio Zapata, Assistant Professor of Music at Mount Marty College in Yankton, for a live piano performance at the Redlin Art Center Sunday, March 15th at 2 p.m. Admission is free. 
Eugenio Zapata is a native of Colombia, South America. He completed undergraduate piano studies at the Andes University in Bogota. He traveled to Texas and obtained a Doctorate in Fine Arts at Texas Tech University under the tutelage of American pianist William Westney (winner of the Geneva International Piano Competition). 
Dr. Zapata is currently Assistant Professor of Music at Mount Marty College in Yankton, South Dakota where he is developing the piano program. This will be Dr. Zapata’s second guest performance at the Redlin Art Center. He last mesmerized the audience with his piano mastery in September 2007. Don’t miss his encore performance!
