FLY TYING CLASS AT THE OUTDOOR CAMPUS IN NOVEMBER

Learn to tie simple flies for fly fishing at The Outdoor Campus in November.

All materials and vices will be provided, Derek Klawitter, program coordinator, said. "Students can learn about the equipment and techniques they need to get started fly tying."

The four session class is held Wednesday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m., beginning November 5. Adults and youth ages 12 and over, accompanied by an adult, are invited to attend. Participants will learn patterns used to catch warm water species of fish like bass, bluegills, crappies, perch, northern pike and walleyes. The final week of the class will teach trout flies.
