South Dakota Golf at Your Fingertips:  New Guide Now Available

PIERRE, S.D. – It will now be easier for golf enthusiasts to find and enjoy their favorite golf courses in South Dakota.

“The South Dakota Golf Guide was developed to provide visitors and current residents with a resource for golfing in our state,” said Secretary of the Department of Tourism and State Development Richard Benda.  “Golf is a great asset to the Mount Rushmore State and we want to promote it as much as possible.”

The golf guide, which is a collaborative effort between the Office of Tourism and the South Dakota Golf Association, provides information on courses all across South Dakota.

“We are extremely proud of the quality and quantity of golf we have in South Dakota and are excited to be able to share this with all who visit our great state,” said Executive Director of the South Dakota Golf Association Wade Merry.  “This golf guide provides a format that is easy to use and understand and is a wonderful promotional tool for all our golf clubs.”

The South Dakota Golf Guides will be available at information centers throughout the state or by contacting the Office of Tourism.
