PIERRE, S.D. - The South Dakota Office of Tourism has added two new posters to their revised poster series. The 2008 series will feature the Needles of the Black Hills and a glacial lake in northeast South Dakota.
“Showcasing the beauty of South Dakota is something that just comes naturally,” said Chad Coppess, Photographer for the Office of Tourism. “South Dakota is full of incredibly wonderful landscapes, and adding the Needles and a glacial lake to the poster series highlights that very well.”
The posters were printed on heavy duty, high-quality paper stock and are suitable for framing. The dimensions are 30 inches x 20 inches.
The posters will first be available for sale at the 2008 Governor’s Conference on Tourism, Jan. 16-17, at the Ramkota RiverCentre in Pierre. After Jan. 17 they can be purchased through the South Dakota Office of Tourism at 711 E. Wells Ave. in Pierre. The cost of the posters is $5 each.
The Needles and glacial lake fine art photographs were taken by Office of Tourism photographer Chad Coppess and photo artist Paul Schiller of Sioux Falls.
