National Field Archery Association Chooses
Yankton, SD for New National Headquarters Location
YANKTON, SD – The National Field Archery Association (NFAA) announced that it has selected Yankton, S.D. as the location for its new headquarters building.
The NFAA, a non-profit corporation dedicated to the practice of archery, is selling its current office facility in Redland, Calif., and will begin building the new headquarters in Yankton this fall.
“We believe this is a positive step for the NFAA and our 19,000 members that will be mutually beneficial to both the NFAA and the State of South Dakota,” said Bruce Cull, president of the NFAA. “The NFAA looks forward to joining the Yankton community and becoming the destination of choice for archers across the country.”
The new headquarters will be located on 39 acres of property just off Bramble Road in Yankton.
“There are tremendous possibilities for outdoor tournaments and additional ranges with the location of the new national headquarters,” said Cull.
"We are pleased to welcome The National Field Archery Association (NFAA) headquarters to South Dakota,” said Richard Benda, secretary, Department of Tourism and State Development. “Our state is known for its love of the outdoors, and our business climate has proven extremely friendly to companies in this industry,"
The NFAA was founded in 1939, and now consists of fifty chartered state associations and more than 1,000 affiliated clubs. The NFAA is dedicated to the conservation and preservation of game and its natural habitat. The organization is very active in cooperating with federal and state agencies and sportsmen and conservation organizations.
