The Blind Boys of Alabama
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Back by popular demand, after winning an unprecedented four consecutive Grammy’s for Best Traditional Soul Gospel, The Blind Boys of Alabama return to Sioux Falls for a performance at the Washington Pavilion of October 1, 2005.
After playing as part of the Sioux Falls Jazz and Blues series two years ago the Blind Boys of Alabama are returning to promote their new album “Atom Bomb.” The Blind Boys of Alabama are bringing to Sioux Falls their special brand of the Gospel. Like they said two years ago, “We didn’t come to hope you’d find the Lord, we brought him here with us.”
This show at the Washington Pavilion has special opening guest Pieta Brown. Ms. Brown is the daughter of legendary Iowa singer/songwriter Greg Brown.
