This year’s festivities helps to celebrate and support our communities colorful history. Holy Terror Days began in the in the late 1800’s as an Independence Days Celebration in the community which created entertainment for the gold rush miners and their families. The celebration was named after the infamous Holy Terror Mine which at that time was the richest gold claim in the southern hills. It’s tradition has continued throughout the years. Festivities begin with pre-Holy Terror Days at Halley’s Store. The Jolly Llama’s will be playing with a show and shine for entries for the Derby Races on Sunday, September 8 on Mitchell Street near Halley’s.  Highlights this year include the Holy Terror Day parade which begins Sept. 7 at 10:00 at the Keystone Mall and continues down 16 A to the community center. The 4th Annual Ugly Truck contest participants will be included in the parade with parade and Ugly Truck awards during the annual fundraising luncheon sponsored by the Keystone Senior Citizens at the Big Thunder Gold Mine property from 11:00-12:45 .
