The annual Platte Chamber Fishing Tournament starts Friday, May 4th with an hors d'oeuvres social from 6-8 pm at The Yellow Rose followed by the rules meeting and Calcutta. Door prizes will be given. ALL ENTRANTS ARE REQUIRED TO BE THERE FOR THE RULES MEETING. Fishing begins Saturday morning at 7 a.m. and ends at 5 p.m., followed by the awards banquet at 7:30 at The Yellow Rose. Trophies will be awarded and winners announced. Entry fee is $200 for a two or three-person team (Saturday evening meal included). For more information call 605-337-2275.
