The town of Tulare is located on Highway 281 approximately 36 miles northwest of Huron and 9 miles south of Redfield. This small community, like most small towns in South Dakota, thrived in the early days of the railroad.

Today, Tulare offers hospitality, hometown cooking and hunting opportunities.
