Named for a former postmaster, Strandburg is found in north east South Dakota, on county Highway 19. In nearby Stockholm, you’ll find an interesting collection of pioneer farm implements at the Grant County Agricultural Museum. One of the more unique exhibits is an 1879 Claim Shanty built by Lars Anderson in Vernon Township, and moved to the museum in 1990.
