Hot Springs, named one of 2009’s Dozen Distinctive Destinations by the National Trust for Historic Preservation, is home to soothing, warm water springs and year-round activities. Located in the southern Black Hills, visitors will find one of the world’s largest concentrations of Wooly Mammoth bones at The Mammoth Site, and one of the countries largest, natural warm water indoor swimming pools at Evans Plunge.
