Historic Deadwood, South Dakota is the where the west got wild. This old gaming town is full of legends about outlaws, gamblers and gunslingers — like Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane.

The entire town of Deadwood has been designated a National Historic Landmark and ongoing restoration continues to transform the town back to its Wild West glory. Visitors can enjoy the latest slots, Blackjack, poker and Texas Hold’em games at one of the 80 historic gaming halls with $100 bet limits.

Deadwood is also legendary for its events like Wild Bill Days, Kool Deadwood Nites and the Deadwood Jam.

For more information, visit Deadwood's Area Chamber of Commerce page.
