Blunt, South Dakota is a small, friendly community located in 21 miles east of Pierre. Visitors to Blunt will enjoy pheasant hunting, walleye fishing and all the water recreation of the Missouri River.

Blunt is also home to the Mentor Graham House and Museum. Graham, who was Abraham Lincoln’s teacher, moved to Blunt in 1883 and lived there until his death a few years later.
