Akaska, South Dakota is a small town that’s home to really big fish! Located on Lake Oahe, in the north eastern region of the state, anglers have been known to reel in 6-7 pound Northern Pike, 5-7 pound Walleyes and numerous other species of fish.
Home to the South Dakota Walleye Festival, Akaska is also well known for its pheasant and deer hunting opportunities.
