The South family established Strawbale Winery in 2006. Constructed of straw bales, the buildings are insulated for a prairie-style wine cellar and an atmosphere of country farm living. Tucked in a farm setting between a 100-year-old red barn and established shelter belt, the straw buildings, vineyard and animals may introduce you to our remind you of a simpler time.
