Home to more than 800 mammals, birds, amphibians, reptiles, fish and invertebrates representing 150 varieties from around the world, the Bramble Park Zoo in Watertown, SD, is a great place for kids to explore and experience wildlife in nature’s very own classroom. Complete with guided tours, animal sponsorships, zoo keeper talks, petting zoo and much more, the Bramble Park Zoo allows visitors to learn and interact with animals one on one.

In addition to our multitude of mammals and other species, we also have a variety of indoor and outdoor exhibits, many of which are new to the grounds or freshly renovated. Visit our updated aquariums, Bird of Prey Plaza, expanded Dinoland and updated Diversity of Life Complex. Our new Terry Redlin Environmental Center just opened in summer 2010!


Admission is free for children under 2, $5 +tax for children 3-12, and $7 +tax for adults 13 and over.
Summer Hours: 10am-7pm
Winter Hours: 10am—4pm
